CARNEGIE HALL

Mechaye Hametim

by Noam Sheriff

Manhattan Girls Chorus performed the US premiere of Mechaye Hametim by Noam Sheriff at Carnegie Hall under the baton of Maestro Zubin Mehta with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Thomas Hampson and The Collegiate Chorale.

The Manhattan Girls Chorus sang like angels with exquisite sound and precision. Their eyes reflected a deep understanding and respect for this profoundly spiritual choral symphony.

I love everything about this Chorus! The founding of the Manhattan Girls Chorus was truly an inspiration. These young ladies sing with commitment, understanding and desire to communicate the essence of their music to anyone that can hear them. As they bond among the many cultures they individually represent, they build bridges to the many cultures that are inspired by their performances.
